Thursday, December 22, 2005Yeshua ben YosefAn event looms. A birth celebration no less. Yeshua ben Yosef, a child of an obscure family from Nazareth in a small country called Israel [interestingly it is about the same size as Vancouver Island] was born over 2000 years ago. This child of a small oppressed people, not even ruling their own country, of a marginalised family, so unimportant that they had no priority accomodation when they had to return to their home town to register for a Roman census, had an astounding affect on his people. And on the Roman empire, and on the world. Amazing really. Read about his name origins here. Hmmm, interesting! Posted by: Mark | 10:29 am |
