Friday, December 10, 2004An alternative christmas gift 
We decided this week that in our Home Church that our christmas gifts to each other would be of this form - a gift to someone else who really needs it. So we are gonna club together and send a gift. I got some abuse for wanting to do something that would get a certificate!! As i type that i can see why - it sounds very dodgy! However what I really meant was that churcking some coins in an envelope doesn't sound like much of a gift, it seemed to me that even the opportunity to focus on something (anything) as a result of the gift will make it more personal and meaningful.
