Tuesday, February 24, 2004Funding Round 1 Well, interesting development has taken place this morning. I have just received a call from the county council informing us that we have been successfull in our grant application that we submitted for the running of excel. Wow!! That is a turn up for the books! All the running around, getting laptops locked in cupboards etc that Colin did was all worthwhile. I have to say I thought it was a 'hit and hope', but it has worked! it is under a fifth of what we need for the 'empower' project as a whole [school, lunchtime clubs, JFC, excel, trips, fundays etc], but it is huge step forward!
